The Nail & Hair Studio is located within InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort on Sơn Trà Peninsula, rather than in central Da Nang. It is a beauty and grooming studio, distinct from the resort's broader Mi Sol Spa and from a medical nail, foot or scalp clinic. The official studio page focuses on manicures, pedicures, foot and lower-leg care, shampoo and drying, intensive conditioning and scalp, shoulder and upper-arm treatments.

The studio features Margaret Dabbs London products and publishes a minimum guest age of 16 years. Resort access, availability for non-residents and transport from the city are not explained on the studio page, so day visitors should confirm all three before making the trip to Sơn Trà. A hotel reservation should not be assumed to include studio services, and a treatment appointment should not be assumed to provide access to every other resort facility.

Manicure and hand-care choices

The current price card lists a 60-minute Supreme Manicure with treatment gloves and a separate Pure Supreme version. The resort describes its featured manicure as including nail reshaping and gloss, serum, exfoliating scrub, hydrating cream and hand-and-arm work. Additional hand options include a 20-minute hand-and-arm treatment and an overnight hand mask with treatment gloves as an add-on.

Before booking, ask whether the chosen manicure includes cuticle work, polish or gel colour, whether existing product removal requires extra time, and which finishing product will be used. Mention any history of reaction to gel, acrylic, fragrance, exfoliants or adhesives. Reusable metal tools should be cleaned and sterilised between clients, while files and buffers should be new or appropriately single-client. Decline cosmetic work over inflamed skin, an open cut, a painful nail fold or a suspected infection.

Pedicures, sole care and lower-leg treatments

Published foot services include a 70-minute Pure Gold Luxury Pedicure, a 70-minute Supreme Foot Therapy and Pedicure, shorter foot or lower-leg treatments, sole therapy, a beach-and-pool sole treatment and a detox foot bath with exfoliation. Separate leg-mask options are also shown on the price card. These are cosmetic and relaxation services; terms such as “therapy” on a beauty menu do not mean that the studio diagnoses circulatory, neurological, orthopaedic or dermatological disease.

Ask how foot baths and contact surfaces are disinfected, whether single-use liners are used, how callused skin is handled and whether blades are avoided. Travellers with diabetes, reduced sensation, poor circulation, significant swelling or anticoagulant use should obtain clinical advice before intensive exfoliation or cuticle work. A painful ingrown nail, fungal-looking nail, wound, spreading redness or unexplained swelling is better assessed by a healthcare professional than covered with polish or treated as routine resort foot care.

Hair, conditioning and scalp services

The studio's hair menu lists a 60-minute shampoo and dry, priced by short, medium or long hair, and an intensive conditioning treatment lasting approximately 60–90 minutes. The resort describes the conditioning option as combining deep conditioning with neck-and-shoulder work and a scalp treatment. A separate 30-minute scalp, shoulder and upper-arm service also appears on the price card.

Confirm the hair length category, products, drying or styling finish and total appointment time before arrival. Tell the team about allergies, a sensitive scalp, extensions, colour treatment, recent chemical straightening or a recent procedure. Cosmetic scalp care should not be used to diagnose sudden hair loss, severe scaling, infection, painful lesions or persistent itching. Those concerns may require a dermatologist or other medical assessment, particularly when symptoms are worsening.

Gel removal and nail safety

The menu includes a 30-minute “gel removal, refresh and shine” service. Safe removal should minimise forced scraping and avoid unnecessary thinning of the natural nail. Ask whether the studio can remove the exact product currently worn, how soaking or filing is performed and whether another service must be booked if extensions or hard gel are present. Do not peel gel off before the appointment, as this can remove layers from the nail plate.

Disclose any previous burning, swelling, blistering or rash after nail products. An allergic reaction can worsen with repeated exposure, and applying another gel system without understanding the cause may not be appropriate. If the surrounding skin is inflamed or the nail is discoloured, separating or painful, postpone cosmetic application until the problem has been assessed.

Because two email routes are published, use the main studio page or telephone when confirmation is time-sensitive and ask the resort to state the correct arrival point.

The price card lists amounts in Vietnamese đồng and states that 5% service charge and 10% tax are added. Confirm the current total rather than relying on an old downloaded menu, particularly for hair-length categories or add-ons. The reviewed official material does not specify the studio's accepted cards, cash arrangements, cancellation window or no-show fee, so ask for those details before providing payment information.

The resort is on Sơn Trà Peninsula, some distance from central Da Nang. Day visitors should allow time for the resort approach, entrance procedures and movement within the property. Ask whether a buggy or staff escort is needed to reach the studio and how early to arrive. If a treatment is planned before airport transfer or an event, allow a buffer for consultation, product removal, drying, payment and transport.

Opening hours and practical limits

The official studio page gives daily hours of 09:00–18:00. Opening hours do not establish same-day availability, so advance reservation is sensible for a specific technician, a longer pedicure or conditioning appointment, or more than one guest. Confirm the age requirement when booking for a family member, since the salon states that it welcomes guests aged 16 and older.
